Canada Fashion Magazine’s 2nd edition is here and I couldn’t be more excited!
The editorial had a party last Friday to celebrate the launch of their new publication at the Sony Alpha Gallery, located in Downtown Ottawa. It was an evening where fine arts, fashion and culture were celebrated.
Starting with the beautiful music and traditional dances of the Algonquin’s, the indigenous Canadian community, we were given more knowledge of this countries heritage and its beginnings in fashion. This was followed by a catwalk show where Ottawa’s fines designers gave us a taste of their new collections, while their models walked to the rhythm of live instrumental music.
The location chosen for the event was espectacular. You already know that I admire art in all its forms and shapes, so having the chance of enjoying fashion and also loose myself into mesmerizing paintings is always a plus for me. At the same time, the type of architecture at the Sony Alpha Gallery is one of my favourites: minimalist and edgy. So if you are in the area I would say it is a must see!
Make sure you get your copy before they are sold out! (No kidding, this happened with the 1st edition!)
